Retro styling refers to the design rather than the product meaning a new product can have a retro style even if it includes new technology previously unseen. Products such as the vespa, a timeless classic has very much the same styling as the first ones ever produced, however the newer models use newer parts and modern technology to keep up with current trends. One example of styling that has remained the same throughout the vespa's lifetime is the way the light is incorporated into the handlebars.
