Psychological Function

Psycological function refers the the effect a product has on the user emotionally, the way it makes you feel. This can be useful for designers as consumers will often adapt the way they use a product that has function issues if the product is asthetically pleasing. A prime example of this is apple products, they are not the most powerfull products and other more functional products are available, often less expencive, however the design of any of the apple products make them the desirable option.
